Control unit

By continuously monitoring the operational status of the detectors, the control unit ensures that any signs of potential explosions are promptly detected and suppressed.

  • CUP0302D-B: Base unit: Master Control Unit (MCU) + max 6 zones (ZCN)
  • CUP0302D-E: Extension unit for max 6 zones (ZCN) that
    communicates with the base unit. Can be monitored and controlled via the base unit.

Reversed polarity = a polarity change of the different components.

• Used both for interpreting the detectors and for controlling the gas generators.
• Almost completely insensitive to external environmental factors.

Detector
When an activation occurs, the reversed polarity detector inverts.

• The ZCN observes this polarity inversion and provides an activation signal to the firing circuit. A 2 millisecond software filter stabilizes this transition.
